The Athonitissa Theotokos as the Abbess of Holy Mount Athos; she is its Patron. At the bottom right, she is depicted reaching Athos by boat with St. John and others.
This pretty medallion is crafted by me, and is composed of a quality printed image covered with a crystal clear, domed glass cabochon that protects and magnifies the image beneath.
Outer size: 2 3/8" x 1 5/8" (60x42mm)
